Riverside Teams

At Riverside we believe in serving God in our lives inside and outside the church. Get involved in serving at Riverside Church. Whatever your gifts and interests, there is a team you can join. Think and ask God about where you are called to serve.

For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. Galatians 5:13

Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other. Romans 12:4-5

Teams

  • Kids

    Ministry Leader: Jo Gibb

    Helping kids experience Jesus in a way they understand. Get involved in service programs at morning church during the school term with primary and pre-school age children.

  • Youth

    Ministry Leaders: Zac and Tonisha Francis

    Helping high school students encounter Jesus and influence their world. We meet on Friday nights during the school term and mid week in connect groups.

  • Worship and Production

    Ministry Leaders: Zac and Tonisha Francis

    Helping lead our congregation in worshiping God and facilitating the running of our church services. Get involved in music, audio, visual, lighting, video and more.

  • Environment

    Ministry Leaders: Andrew and Jodie Houghton

    Helping create welcoming environments at Riverside Church. Get involved in greeting, ushering, parking and more.

  • Hospitality

    Ministry Leader: Alison Francis

    Helping provide food and drinks for church services and events.

  • Maintenance and Grounds

    Ministry Leader: Dennis Murphy

    Looking after the Physical church, including lawns, gardens and church maintenance.

  • Cleaning

    Helping keep God’s house clean and tidy.
